Hi there! I’m Liz. I’m a UX designer in California. As a former paralegal, I love combining my analytical skills with design to solve problems and help people.

I apply user-centered design principles to optimize how people experience and use technology. I believe that accessible and exciting products are informed by user needs. In the legal industry, I saw how tools and customer service could improve our ability to help clients. I explored ways to improve workflows in our case management software. Our team also improved ways to interact with clients at every touch point from intake to billing.

After completing a UX immersion course more than a year ago, I made the full switch to the field. I then worked as a UI/UX Designer at MindFlow Design (acquired by MPE Inc.) in the medtech space for a year designing experiences for healthcare workers . It was there I additionally learned to dig for user needs, study FDA regulations, and get my feet wet with design workshops and facilitation. Today, I enjoy working with clients to work out a design strategy. I digitally design for local and regional businesses that need to target and reach customers through their websites or digital products. I dive into the customer journey and extract opportunities. Understanding how content and visual design can creatively come together and create impactful customer experiences is what I do.

At the end of the day, I’m interested in helping organizations understand, reach and improve the productivity, health and lifestyles of people.

Outside of design, I enjoy hanging out with my family, yoga, running (former cross-country runner!) and cooking.
